Join Golden Guitar winning Australiana singer/songwriter Matt Scullion and his wife Sharon on a Tag A Long musical adventure.

It’s 9 nights of caravanning camaraderie, campfire music, country pub/club concerts, games and trivia, sightseeing and making friends to last a lifetime all for $250 per person. All the organisation is done for you, so you can just sit back and enjoy the journey.

We all meet in Cooma NSW on Sat 3rd of June 2023 and slowly over the course of 6 lazy days make our way to the horse capital of Australia Scone NSW where the “Let’s Wing It” 3 day Country music festival will be held over the June long weekend. Headlining the festival will be such acts as Fanny Lumsden, Adam Eckersly & Brooke McClymont, The Sunny Cowgirls, The Bushwakers, Andrew Swift and off course Matt himself. (Along with many more established and emerging artists)

We’ll be staying in caravan parks and show grounds stopping over in some beautiful and historic towns along the way. We’ll spend two nights each in Cooma, Crookwell and Rylestone where you can soak up all the towns have to offer. Then it’s on to Scone for a three night stay.

There will be plenty of songs sung and stories told around the campfire. Matt will also perform a few shows along the way at selected country licensed venues where Taggers can mix with and get to know the locals. There will also be a trivia night and fancy dress (optional of course).

Joining Matt will be veteran Impersonater/Entertainer and all round funny man Greg Hayes. Greg spent years touring with the late, great Slim Dusty and as you can imagine has a swag full of songs and campfire tales to tell.

Campsites will be tentatively held but the campsite and festival fees are not included in price. The Let’s Wing It Festival is also optional.

ITINERARY

SAT 3rd June

All meet at the Cooma caravan park where you’ll be greeted by your hosts Matt and Shaz. Meet and greet the rest of the Taggers over nibbles and drinks, followed by a complimentary sausage sizzle. Then it’s time to get the campfire lit and the songs cracking.

SUN 4th June

The morning is yours to explore the picturesque town of Cooma, there’s plenty to do and see or just kick back with a lazy book and chill. That afternoon we’ll all meet up at The Alpine Hotel Cooma for a 2pm Sunday Session concert featuring Matt & Greg. Locals will be invited to attend the show, drinks and meals will be available for you to purchase.

MON 5th June

Pack up your van for a 10am check out, today we hit the road and head to the historic farming town of Crookwell which is about 230 km’s. We’ll stop at one of the many cozy towns along the way for lunch and arrive at our destination early to mid afternoon. Check in at the Crookwell show ground and set up camp. Cook yourselves up some dinner and meet back at the campfire about 6pm for campfire songs and stories with Matt & Greg.

TUES 6th June

The day is yours to explore the picturesque town of Crookwell with it’s beautiful tree lined streets and gardens. There’s plenty to do and see or just relax and don’t do much of anything. Cook up your dinner and get dolled up for the fancy dress night. Meet at the campfire about 6pm for music trivia and a little bush dancing. Prizes given for best dressed and trivia winners.

WEDS 7th June

Pack up your van for a 10am check out, today we hit the road and head to the charming foodies delight town of Rylestone which is about 250 km’s. We’ll stop again along the way for lunch and arrive at our destination mid afternoon. Check in at the Rylestone caravan park, set up camp and just relax. Tonight we’ve got a night off to re charge the batteries. Cook up your own meal or check out the many wonderful licensed venues Rylestone has to offer.

THURS 8th June

The day is yours to explore Rylestone with its cafes, boutiques and local arts. There’s plenty to do and see or just kick back with that book again. Tonight around 6pm we all meet up at The Rylestone Club for a 2 hour concert with Matt & Greg. We’ll be inviting locals and again dinner will available at the venue for you to purchase if you wish.

FRI 9th June

Wake up to a complimentary pancake breakfast from your hosts Matt & Shaz, then pack up your van for a 10am check out. Today we say goodbye to those Taggers who aren’t attending the Let’s Wing It Festival. The rest of us will hit the road for the horse capital of Australia Scone about 240 km’s. We’ll arrive at the White Park equine complex early afternoon and check our vans in to the caravan sites provided. Then it’s 3 days of the best country music Australia has to offer.
